    Rafael Pranschke was born 1973 and is based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.  He established his own company, Foodatelier, in 2011 and is now a renowned commercial photographer.

    Rafael loves to shoot food and drink for advertising and editorial clients. He enjoys working from his fully equipped daylight studio, complete with a large range of props. He uses daylight and a variety of flashes to compose excellent results for his photos.

    His passion for food is based on his training as a Master Chef. Rafael's clients love his attention to detail and composition. He works on different projects for agencies, the food industry and publishing companies.

    Rafael Pranschke is a Germany-based photographer and filmmaker specializing in food, drink, and lifestyle photography. Rafeal actually started his career as a trained masterchef and dietary trained chef.

    As a chef, he worked with top European Michelin-starred restaurants. After a very successful time as a food stylist, he founded the Foodatelier. Rafael now works from his 240 square meters daylight studio near Düsseldorf, which features three working places, a full kitchen and a large pool of props.

    He is commissioned for advertising, books, packaging and campaigns. Every job is executed in a highly professional and relaxed working environment.

    As a chef, Rafael worked in top European Michelin-starred restaurants before becoming a college lecturer. After spending a few very successful years as a food stylist, he now works as a freelance photographer and is the author of numerous cookbooks.

    He has been awarded gold and silver medals by the Academy of Gastronomy Germany and the World Cookbook Awards.
