It is Hessel Waalewijn’s belief that although film and photography require different specific skills, their boundaries are fading due to different types of new media and technical development. Being both photographer and filmmaker was sometimes confusing for clients 15 years ago; now they see the benefits and how one eye for both disciplines can enhance each other.

Hessel's eye is used by clients including Heineken, AkzoNobel, EA Sports, Disney, Spyker Cars, Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, Puma, Asics Tiger, Ralph Vaessen, Van Gils, Vanguard, PME Legend and artists like Ap Verheggen and Lucy McRae.
