Photographer and director Amy Currell was born in East London, where she lives and works. Her still life photography and moving image is shot through a distinctively female lens, and each frame is composed with thoughtfulness and grace, artfully juxtaposing colour and texture, shape and shadow.
Amy is most at home when capturing colour and texture at their most evocative – drawing narratives from shadows, finding the warmth and refraction in liquids and blending CGI techniques with traditional stills photography for a perfected reality.
Amy is highly sought after in the commercial world by clients who value beauty, and the context of their products in carefully choreographed composition and these have included – Ikea, Vogue, Selfridges, Liberty London, Tatler, Bvlgari, and London Art Fair.
Amy also holds the prodigious position of UK Brand Ambassador for Leica.

Amy is actively seeking to collaborate with brands that light her up. Visit her website to get in touch.

"I am one of those fortunate people who found her passion in life before the age of ten, with most of my life lived behind a camera.
I love shooting on location. Whether a beach, paddock, or hemp plantation, there is a challenge and great reward working with the everchanging nuances of daylight, or balancing in artificial light. In studio, my approach is varied; sometimes utilising daylight, other times artificially creating ‘daylight’, or developing a more complex lighting set - whatever best suits the creative brief.
Previous work spans a wide range of advertising campaigns, branded digital films, and features in over 100 food and lifestyle books. More recently, work includes a motion + photography campaign for Procter & Gamble shot on location in Australia, a billboard for Kellogg's, TVC plus various media for Heathcote Gin, Don Smallgoods' rebranding, and some of my short food films feature on SBS Australia. My client list also includes James Boag beer, Fisher & Paykel, The Good Food Emporium, Tourism Victoria, Coburn & Co whisky, Darrell Lea chocolates, and ALDI, to name a few.
Recent years have seen my love of the still image flow into my love of the moving image, with the focus being to always weave a visual story. My capacity to shoot both photography and motion streamlines production and maintains style consistency across various media.
On set I work closely with clients: I believe that collaboration, a positive attitude, and a shared enthusiasm for evocative visuals are the most effective way to create beautiful, authentic stories worth sharing with the world."
The uncompromising passion for outstanding images lets the team around Klaus Peterlin create unique imagery.
"In the most modern photo studio in South Tyrol or on site with our customers, we work highly professional and experienced to create images from a thought, an idea.
We are not only specialised in photography. To use synergies is our motto, so we combine photography and motion on the same set, in the same situation. The image style, the lighting mood and the appearance remains the same.
With the right eye for detail and the sense for the big picture; with outstanding technology, decades of experience and the claim to approach every project in a highly professional and committed manner. Only when the goosebumps are standing and tears of joy are flowing, we are satisfied, then we have fulfilled our mission.
When can we get creative for you? Let us get in touch.
Among our long-standing customers are: ARIA Retreat & SPA, Hotel Schwarzenstein, Optrel Sport AG, Brimi, Loacker AG, A. & J. Stöckli AG, Alpitronic GmbH, Mizuno Europe to name just a few."
"The start of the year is a new beginning. No better time to raise a glass, and cheers to the year ahead, with all its gifts and moments for us to enjoy and endure, while giving a cheer to the year just past, its trials and tribulations, joyful moments and days of wonder.
Included in this Spotlight are some of my favourite images of drinks. So, although we can’t clink our glasses together in person, hopefully, you can pick one of your favourites and we can toast over the web.
Food and drink are integral to us, I strive to make even everyday items unique, comforting and enticing.
My clients include Deliveroo, Warburtons, Waitrose Kitchen, Marks & Spencer, Nando’s, Lidl UK, Byron Burger, Weight Watchers, Subway UK, ITSU, Yo Sushi, Costa Coffee, Heathrow, Pret A Manger, EAT, Cafe Nero and many more.
